Three Ways to Think Small

It’s a counter-cultural message…think small, and see your ministry to children grow! One Hope Canada national director Bill McCaskell shares three practical ways you can “think small” to share the big news of Jesus’ love with the kids in your life.

From childhood on the message is pushed at us…dream big, aim high, set goals! Bigger is better. However, as we buy into that mindset when it comes to our ministry to children, we can also miss out on something really important. When our focus turns to programs and plans, those we truly want to reach with the Gospel can become invisible.

Thinking small means turning our attention back to the kids in our care. They are capable of understanding the profound truths of the Gospel!

“There is an incredible opportunity, not just to change a child’s life, but to literally change this country,” says Bill. “These boys and girls will grow up. Imagine the difference if we are faithful, passing on what God has done for us to the next generation.”
