Loud and full of energy, Raegan had a tough time making friends at the kids’ club run by her local camp. Action-filled Bible stories held her interest, but she tuned out discussions about Jesus and deeper spiritual truths, telling her leaders “There’s no way that’s true!”
Then Raegan showed up for a week of summer camp. Her leaders were a little nervous, but eager to see how God would work.
They were amazed at the change they saw in Raegan: the young girl had fun, made genuine friendships, and bonded with her leaders in meaningful ways. On the final morning, Raegan declared with a huge smile, “I gave my life to Jesus last night!”

More than 3,500 One Hope Canada missionaries and volunteers made vital connections this year, from coast-to-coast. Many of the children and youth they serve come from homes where there is no other Gospel connection.
During summer 2025, more than 19,000 children and youth attended 42 Bible camps and community ministries across the country.
During the rest of the year, another 10,000 attend follow-up programs, retreats, day camps, discipleship training, after-school programs, and more. Thousands of other students connect online with leaders, through our discipleship app.

At camp Brandon discovered a community that came through for him when he needed it most.
One night, the young boy bravely shared the weight of his hard past. His story was raw, and those in the room felt its heaviness. But as cabinmates and leaders listened and surrounded Brandon with care, it was only a short time until he was on his feet—jumping, laughing, and praising God with everything he had.
“The transformation in those moments was undeniable,” Brandon’s leader recalls. “From brokenness to joy, from sorrow to hope, it was a powerful reminder of the life-changing love of Jesus at work right before our eyes.”
